This year, the school continued its long established partnership with the Los Angeles Archdiocese’s Adopt-A-Family program by collecting boxed cereal. Each year, hundreds of volunteers deliver food, toys, and clothing tolow-income families in the downtown area of Los Angeles and we are delighted to contribute in a small way to this outreach program.
An additional collection was taken at the request of the Little Sisters of the Poor; SJF families donated personal toiletry items for residents of the Jeanne Juan Residence in San Pedro. Giving events are scheduled throughout the year at the school, helping students to be aware of the need in their local and surrounding communities.
