The feast day of St. Nicholas is celebrated on December 6th and our TK-2nd grade students got a very special surprise. Traditionally on the eve of the feast day children leave shoes out in hopes that they will find treats the following morning. While our students could not leave their shoes overnight, the teachers wrote a very special letter to St. Nick asking if he could come visit during the school day. Each student left one shoe outside the classroom in hopes that St. Nick would come visit St. John Fisher. Luckily for us we heard his magi- cal bells and found a bag full of candy in our shoes. The students were so excited and filled with the Christmas spirit after our visit from St. Nick.
