During the past trimester, the third grade class learned that forces and motion affect their life everyday. The students studied the different forces and how these forces affect motion. To culminate their efforts, the class took a field trip to Knott’s Berry Farm to experience Newton’s laws in action. This docent led tour provided an opportunity for the students to gain and share their knowledge of what motion is and what forces cause motion. The class had a terrific day in this outdoor classroom!
