The second grade class recently completed their first class novel, Charlotte’s Web, and a social studies unit on geography in which they learned about natural resources and land use in California. A field trip to Centennial Farm at the Orange Country Fairgrounds was a delightful way for students to extend their learning and experience the sights, smells, sounds, and textures of a farm.
